Manager/Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications

Economic Architecture is a mission-driven nonprofit focused on driving change at the structural level. We address the most stubborn challenges impacting society, particularly those that affect the most vulnerable communities. Economic Architecture is dedicated to the premise that we can and should (re)design our markets to serve the public good.  Since launching only a year ago, we have focused on closing the racial wealth gap by making home ownership more accessible and sustainable. This is just the first of many structural economic challenges we plan to address in the coming years.

 Our work includes:

• Fostering structural innovations: Collaborate with innovators across the country to bring structural innovations to fruition.
• Designing structural innovations: Design, build and launch structural innovations with the potential to use the market to address large social problems.
• Understanding structural innovations: Drive a growing awareness and understanding of when and how to (re)design the market to improve people’s lives.

Manager/Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications

We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications* to help get our message out and reach target audiences. Since we are a new organization, this individual will be instrumental, helping to build something from the very beginning. They will be a very important part of a small but powerful team.

 *Depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Emotionally intelligent. Understand how to communicate with a diversity of audiences in a way that resonates respectfully

Responsibilities:

The Manager/Senior Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a targeted communications strategy. Our immediate priority is building an effective digital footprint, including social media and a new website (currently in development).

The full scope of responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining website content
• Managing social media across multiple platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement 

• Implementing a comprehensive communications program across channels including email, media, and events
• Coordinating graphic design and other external expertise needed for communications
• Supporting the development of written content, including blogs and published research
• Developing collateral and other materials
• Producing a monthly email newsletter 

• Collaborating closely with team members to ensure alignment and integration of messaging
• Collaborating with partners for joint messaging
• Utilizing data analytics to measure the effectiveness of the communication program and adjusting as necessary

Media relations and writing skills a plus.
