Description:
The Senior Manager, Proposal Development & Reporting, will be a key member of the Institutional Partnerships team, reporting to the Senior Director of Institutional Partnerships. This role is responsible for developing compelling, high-quality proposals and producing clear, persuasive reports and donor collateral that showcase the impact of the Capital Area Food Bank’s work to corporate and foundation donors.
The Senior Manager will help CAFB raise a minimum of $10M annually by developing powerful, well-crafted proposals tailored to institutional donors and producing timely, accurate, and persuasive reports that demonstrate impact and drive renewals. In this role, the Senior Manager will collaborate closely with internal program and finance teams to align narratives with data and outcomes. They will also draft correspondence, proposals, and reports on behalf of senior leadership and manage deadlines to ensure the timely submission of reports and materials. Additionally, the Senior Manager will monitor trends in the regional and national fundraising landscape to identify emerging opportunities in order to help build CAFB’s prospect and donor pipeline.
This role is central to advancing CAFB’s revenue goals through excellent writing, thoughtful donor correspondence, and strong project management.
