    We are seeking a Weekend Manager with strong operational experience and a demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Learning Space Operations, the Weekend Manager collaborates with a team that includes Assistant Managers, Technology Center Supervisors, and Student Workers to ensure consistent operational support across our Learning Spaces during assigned shifts.

    This role covers two weekend shifts and three weekday shifts and plays a critical role in maintaining the functionality, accessibility, and service quality of our learning environments.

    CORE CAPABILITIES AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Customer Service & Support

    • Serve as the single point of contact for customer service and support related to Learning Space Operations and print services during the weekend.
    • Provide in-class support by going on-site to classrooms, as directed by IT Central, to assist instructors with technology issues, escalating when necessary.
    • Follow up on outstanding classroom issues, collaborating with other IT teams and campus departments.
    • Serve as an escalation point for incidents or requests not resolved by front-line staff and monitor the Learning Space Operations email inbox.

    Operational Oversight

    • Act as Manager-on-Duty during assigned shifts, representing IT Management and providing direct oversight of all Learning Spaces facilities and part-time staff operations.
    • Track office supplies, print consumables, and manage the receipt of purchase orders.
    • Perform administrative tasks related to Learning Space Operations as needed and according to assigned areas.

    Process Improvement & Reporting

    • Collaborate with management to assess operations and recommend improvements to work processes.
    • Collect and present data to support service improvement recommendations.
    • Use service level agreements (SLAs) to report progress and achievements to upper management, providing regular statistics and improvement plans.

    Staff Development

    • Train and mentor staff to deliver a successful and consistent customer experience.

    Other

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent professional level work experience in educational technology or related field.
    • Available to work weekends and some weekdays and occasionally evenings.
    • Experience managing a high demand, technology services facilities and sharing responsibilities with a talented team with strong technical skills.
    • Experience with printing and resolving printing issues.
    • Reliable and effective time management skills.
    • Advanced level of technical, communication, written and spoken, and administrative skills.

    WORK MODE

    On campus - This position is primarily in-person and is based on campus to support effective in-person collaboration and engagement. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the role and operational needs. Any such arrangement must be discussed and approved in advance by the appropriate division lead or their designee.

    SALARY RANGE

    $64,350
