About the Audience Services Coordinator Role: 

BRIC seeks an Audience Services Supervisor to ensure the implementation of BRIC’s guest services protocols and policies as well as manage Front of House Operations for BRIC Events. This is a non-exempt role that works primarily a Wednesday through Sunday, 10am - 6pm schedule but is subject to change based on event needs.


What You’ll Do in the Role:

The Audience Services Coordinator will be responsible for the following in addition to any other project as assigned by their manager, the Operations Manager: 


Event Supervision

  • Work with the Operations Team and BRIC event Producers to ensure that all  audience services policies and front of house protocols are implemented both for events and for day to day operations. 
  • Work with Operations Manager to ensure all events run smoothly from an audience perspective including implementing plans to enhance audience flow, visitor experience, concessions and other space use needs.
  • Work with production to set up and breakdown all events at BRIC House. 
  • Serve as lead for events and point of contact for front of house staff including Ushers, Cafe Associates, Custodial Team and Security, to ensure all members of the Operations team are working in concert, following schedules and protocols. 
  • Ensure cafe and box office staff follow BRIC protocols as it relates to monies. Act as the primary point of contact for cash drawers at events. 
  • Ensure all end of event reporting is completed in a timely manner including final reconciliation reports and end of night reports. 
  • Oversee and implement resources to address ADA and accessibility needs for BRIC Events.
  • Act as first point of contact for patron questions. 


Box Office Management

  • Oversee the box office and associated staff for ticketed programming at BRIC House and the Lena Horne Bandshell during BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! 
  • Manage comp and guest lists for all events and ensure that correct information is available for check in.
  • Work in Universe and Ticketmaster to set up and maintain all show builds for ticketed events at BRIC. 
  • Provide Producers and the Finance Department with regular reports related to advanced sales and RSVP numbers. 
  • Work with the Finance Department to settle out all ticketing income for events. 


Administrative Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for the Operations team at the building on weekends, both for guests and staff. 
  • Work with the Operations Coordinator to provide weekly coverage of the Welcome Desk. 
  • Manage all documentation and reporting for the department as related to attendance, guest experience and events.

  • Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $45 - $50K. 
  • Status and location: This is a full-time, exempt role based in our Brooklyn office.
