    Descrição

    Job Purpose

The Mental Health Association of Maryland (MHAMD) and its subsidiary, BrainFutures, are seeking an experienced administrator to align all aspects of operations with organizational objectives and mission. The successful candidate will be a hands-on systems thinker, seasoned manager and creative problem solver with demonstrated experience leading strategic implementation and providing oversight of information technology systems, internal controls and finance; assuring efficient operation of human resources and all operational support services; and ensuring alignment with strategic and programmatic goals. Established in 1915, the Mental Health Association of Maryland (MHAMD) is the nation’s second oldest mental health citizen advocacy organization, uniting consumers, families, providers, advocates and concerned citizens for unified action in all aspects of mental health. We envision a just, humane, inclusive and healthy society which affords each individual respect, dignity, and the opportunity to achieve their full potential – free from stigma, prejudice and discrimination. MHAMD is committed to ensuring every Marylander’s fundamental right to quality mental health and substance use care through systems and policy change; oversight of service quality; outreach, education and training; and rapid access to science-informed, evidence-based advances in care. We founded BrainFutures in 2016, a national non-profit dedicated to improving human outcomes by assessing and advancing practical applications of new scientific understanding of the brain.
