Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Case Manager/Program Coordinator will work directly with participants in all of our programs including justice involved women and families. The case manager will assist with housing, life skills, money management, achieving independence and accessing community services, etc. Please submit a resume. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Essential Skills & Abilities:
Able to work in a small team setting with a desire to learn from colleagues, supporting and encouraging each other and program participants.
Must be flexible, organized and self- starter.
Ability to build relationships with program participants and other social service organizations.
Knowledge of housing and homelessness helpful.
Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds in a non-judgmental manner.
Must be willing to provide in-home services throughout Chester County. Over 60% of the time is spent in the field.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are essential.
Able to assist families in completing and adhering to a household budget.
Excellent computer skills, specifically Word and Excel.
Trauma-informed.
Demonstrated commitment to service of others is required.
Knowledge of Chester County, community resources, agencies and organizations helpful.
Maintain participant notes and files in a timely manner.
Sense of humor required!
