Pay: $104,000 to $120,000 – Pay based on experience and education.

Are you ready to lead impactful fundraising initiatives? Are you skilled in developing strategies that increase revenue through grants and partnerships? If so, the Washington Poison Center (WAPC) invites you to apply for the role of Director of Development and Grant Management.

About Us: The Washington Poison Center is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides free access to critical public health services dedicated to treating and preventing toxic exposures in our community. We are an organization of experienced healthcare professionals who are known for our commitment to excellence and expertise in the field of toxicology.

Your Role: As the Director of Development and Grant Management, you will play a vital role in shaping our funding strategies and expanding our influence. You will:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement a strategic development plan.
  • Manage and grow our funding campaigns and develop new initiatives that enhance our fundraising efforts.
  • Research, develop, and manage submissions for government, private, and corporate grants.
  • Foster and deepen relationships with donors and corporate sponsors through effective communication and engagement strategies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • At least five years of non-profit development experience in a healthcare or public health environment.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and grant management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and familiarity with grant writing.
