This is a hybrid position that requires 1 to 2 days in-office attendance.

Intake
A. Act as point-person for all trauma-related intake questions, concerns, and updates
- Use EHR systems to track and maintain patient information
- Respond to inquiries of request for service, refer out if ineligible for NIP services
- Correspond with potential patients about insurance benefits, fees for service, and scheduling
- Maintain accurate list of affiliates, their specialties, assignment requests, and their supervisors
- Coordinate with Adult Treatment Center intake department to determine appropriateness for EMDR
- Manage patient waitlist for EMDR services
- Maintain referral lists for patients who are being referred out
- Field Clinical Affiliate Questions about AdvancedMD
Administrative Tasks
A. Ensure a Trauma-Informed Care Environment in the Treatment Center
- Serve as communication liaison between NIP Administration and Clinical Affiliates.
- Maintain communication, as needed, with patients beyond assignment to Affiliate and Supervisor.
- Consult with Affiliates, Supervisors, and Director of Treatment Center Operations as needed.
- Evaluate workflow processes with the Clinical Affiliate Program Chair, ITP Director, and Director of Treatment Center Operations and make recommendations for change.
B. Training
- Plan and execute Annual Clinical Affiliates Orientation of EHR Software, Billing Processes, and Intake/Placement process.
- Support the Treatment Center Director of Operations, Director of Psychology Externs, or Social Work Interns, as needed.
C. Meetings
- Monthly ITP Executive Committee: report on intake/placement process
- Monthly Quality Assurance Committee
- Monthly Meeting with ITP Director, Affiliate Chair, and Head of Supervision
- Supervisors Meeting every six weeks
- Weekly Administrative Staff Meeting
D. Miscellaneous
- Review weekly email from Communications Associate
- Review and help update Trauma Treatment Center manual annually
- Support progress of individual Affiliates as needed, including hands-on support with AdvancedMD and all Trauma Treatment Center forms and procedures
- Keep Supervisors, Head of Supervision,CA Chair and ITP Director informed of all concerns related with the Clinical Affiliate Program.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Education, Human Development, Social Work or related field;
- Must have a minimum of three years of full-time, paid, professional experience organizing or implementing trauma-informed and evidence-based prevention and intervention services
- Minimum 2 years experience at training institute, university, or in education field preferred
- Licenses and Certificates: Must have valid mental health professional license, valid Trauma Certification preferred
- Must have professional EHR software experience, and knowledge and skill in the use of computers and assorted software applications
- Knowledge of professional responsibilities, ethics and confidentiality regarding mental health services
- Knowledge of practices of modern management including organizational development, project management, and communications
- Ability to provide presentations and trainings to individuals, small, and large groups
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction and to work and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff, program directors, candidates, patients, and the community
- Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, establish priorities and meet deadlines, and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines
