Operations and Development Manager

The successful applicant will manage operations including meeting fundraising goals and assuring smooth operation of the organization.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Description of duties

• Organize events, manage donor fundraising, write grants, marketing, digital communications.
• Keep the books using QuickBooks and Excel (includes payroll); report to / comply with state and federal authorities; prepare financial statements; assist with audit; keep records.
• Maintain an office environment that promotes productivity.
• Write correspondence to vendors, clients, and donors.
• Review leases, insurance policies, vendor product agreements, benefit programs.  

Required and preferred skills

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, QuickBooks, common computer applications required.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Four-year college degree in nonprofit management or housing justice related field preferred.
• Prior fundraising and office management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and writing, events, marketing skills preferred.
• Dependability, attention to detail required. Commitment to social justice preferred.
