The successful applicant will manage operations including meeting fundraising goals and assuring smooth operation of the organization.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Description of duties
- Organize events, manage donor fundraising, write grants, marketing, digital communications.
- Keep the books using QuickBooks and Excel (includes payroll); report to / comply with state and federal authorities; prepare financial statements; assist with audit; keep records.
- Maintain an office environment that promotes productivity.
- Write correspondence to vendors, clients, and donors.
- Review leases, insurance policies, vendor product agreements, benefit programs.
Required and preferred skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, QuickBooks, common computer applications required.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
- Four-year college degree in nonprofit management or housing justice related field preferred.
- Prior fundraising and office management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and writing, events, marketing skills preferred.
- Dependability, attention to detail required. Commitment to social justice preferred.
