ABOUT THE POSITION

The Executive Coordinator and Board Liaison supports the goals of the Executive Director and the Board of Directors through research, writing, and administrative and logistical tasks and projects. The position manages the Office of the Executive Director, supporting the Executive Director as they lead the ACLU of Maryland internally, and represents the organization with external stakeholders including: member-donors, community partners, government officials, and the news media. The position facilitates Board and Board committee meetings, trainings, and retreats for the Board of Directors. This role works closely with senior leaders, managers, and members of the OPEIU, Local 2 bargaining unit, to coordinate work, and is an integral part of the internal work of the Administration department. The Executive Coordinator and Board Liaison is responsible for managing work of a timely, sensitive, and often confidential nature.
