Behavior Intervention Specialist 2 - NY City

NY, NY – Social Services Agency seeks Behavior Intervention Specialist 2 to develop individualized behavior support & staff intervention plans per required format on completion of functional

assessment. 

Responsibilities

• Implement & monitor effective behavioral data tracking systems. 
• Complete behavior health plans and documents. 
• Provide training on behavior treatment plans & topics. 
• Complete assessment & psychological evaluations.
• Engage individuals in personal &/or group treatment. 
• Coordinate psychological care and behavioral programs with families, medical providers, residential settings & other stakeholders. 
• Provide crisis intervention & instruct staff on to manage challenging behaviors.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings & provide input on individuals with identified/emerging behavioral challenges. 
• Maintain individual service records to ensure quality intervention & regulatory compliancy per governing service provision.
