Are you ready for an adventure that combines professional growth, cultural discovery, and meaningful teaching? Colegio Americano del Sur (CAS) is excited to announce a full-time elementary classroom teaching position available for the 2026 school year. This position is to teach English to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, along with social studies.
At this level, classes are taught primarily in English and include Language Arts, Social Studies, and Reading the World — a collaborative course co-taught with the Spanish teacher. Teachers also participate in additional activities and support programs that help students strengthen their English skills in fun and creative ways.

Our student body of 283 students ranges from Nursery to 12th grade. While most of our students are Guatemalan, we also welcome learners from neighboring Central American countries. All of our graduates go on to pursue higher education.
You do not need to speak Spanish to apply — but you’ll have plenty of opportunities to pick up the language while you’re here!

$1000 bonus is provided for transportation at the completion of the contract.
