This is an hourly full-time Store Manager position at our store in Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities:

  • Create experiences where all team members and visitors feel respected, appreciated, and rewarded. 
  • Build rapport and make a genuine connection with the visitor through exceptional customer service. 
  • Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging visitors. 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and love connecting with people from all walks of life. 
  • Navigate complex topics with sensitivity and respect. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. 
  • Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance. 
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. 
  • Assist visitors with product selection and offer complementary products.  
  • Operate cash register by processing appropriate tenders and maintaining accurate cash register records.  
  • Provide Park information to visitors of the park. 
  • Maintain a safe and appealing store environment while supporting America’s National Parks mission.  
  • Restock the sales floor while following visual merchandising guidelines and help create visual displays. This includes lifting boxes weighing up to 15 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet and may require standing for long periods of time to include bending, squatting, and reaching. 
  • Participate in the inventory management process and spot check counts as directed by management.  
  • May open and close the store independently.
