Everytown for Gun Safety, the nation’s largest gun violence prevention advocacy group, is seeking a senior leader to serve as Deputy Director of Local Government Affairs. The Deputy Director of Local Government Affairs will play a key role in driving local campaigns and initiatives across the country. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in city government, ideally having worked for a mayor, and possess strong people management skills. Additionally, they will demonstrate strategic planning and innovative thinking as they work alongside Associate Directors of Local Government Affairs to build out tailored gun safety programs for mayors and other local government officials.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Local Government Affairs and will be based in New York City.

Qualifications:
