The SLAA has successfully graduated more than 400 lawyers and law students, with dozens advancing to our Leadership Program. This position represents a significant expansion of L4GG's state-level impact, bridging our programmatic issue areas—reproductive rights, racial justice, climate change, immigration, and democracy—with concrete advocacy opportunities and coalition engagement at the state and national level.

The Director will be responsible for producing comprehensive training content, managing multiple advocacy programs, representing L4GG in key rule of law coalitions, and creating systematic pathways for our 125,000+ network members to engage in meaningful democratic participation and rule of law advocacy. The Director will also supervise the Manager, Training and Events.

    • Lead L4GG's participation and strategic leadership in the "Nation of Laws” (NOL) Coalition; represent L4GG in other multi-organizational initiatives and coalitions such as the "Not Above the Law" coalition
    • Develop and coordinate advocacy and volunteer opportunities, as well as virtual and in-person events, focused on rule of law and democracy protection for L4GG’s community
    • Oversee weekly production of L4GG's Impact Docket volunteer opportunities and advocacy alerts, including regular virtual events walking participants through opportunities
