Service Coordinator for Montgomery County

The Choice Program seeks Service Coordinators (SCs) to provide high-quality, high-impact direct services to young people involved with the Department of Juvenile Services through community-based youth and family engagement. Choice is hiring SCs for the Montgomery County. These positions support the organization’s efforts to disentangle young people from the youth legal system and improve wellbeing through goal creation.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Providing in-person, community-based mentoring and advocacy
• Assisting young people with goal planning and achievement
• Documenting and reporting on engagement efforts
• Collaborating with colleagues to facilitate and coordinate activities for young people on evenings and weekends
• Attending regular in person meetings and training sessions
