Social Media Intern For Nonprofit To Get Big Money Out Of Politics

DESCRIPTION

Citizens Take Action is focused on reducing the influence of big money in politics. That mission includes supporting reforms as the local level such as campaign contribution limits and publicly financed elections, as well as advocating for a constitutional amendment to accomplish that goal at the national level.

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about the cause and can help increase our reach and engagement on social media, and to improve our connections with local groups and activists.

Responsibilities:

• Create content for social channels
• Build our followers and engage with leaders and influencers
• Develop campaigns to run on social channels

Qualifications:

• Must be passionate about the cause, hard-working, organized, and have excellent communication skills;

Schedule:

• Approximately 12 hours/week.
• Negotiable start and end date

This position will be a great learning opportunity for someone who is interested in getting big money out of politics and building their skills managing social media channels for an organization.
