The Golden Carrot's mission statement consists of two objectives: provide a life long home for older and/or manageably disabled equines; and provide education about them to children and adults - including free riding lessons in exchange for chores such as stall cleaning and grooming. We are interested in providing therapeutic riding for the physically and emotionally handicapped as well but as yet have not found any takers for this service.
