North 5th Street Revitalization Project

The 5th Street Commercial Corridor is one of Philadelphia's most historic and diverse main streets. Since 2005, we have been working in parternship with small business owners, residents, local schools, the library, and many other community organizations to improve the conditions on 5th Street. It is our goal to make 5th Street a safer, cleaner, and more enriching place for both residents and business owners in Olney.

N5SRP is committed to the development and growth of the local economy on 5th St. To this end, we provide a number of business assistance services free of charge to business owners on our corridor. These services include:

• Providing support to storefronts applying for improvement and energy efficiency grants

• Providing technical assistance dealing with city departments regarding liscenses, permits, and inspections

• Offering referrals to other small business assistance organzations (for help with loans, business plans, marketing, etc)

• Providing support for The Olney Business Association
