The Knight of Diamonds is the inaugural Washington, DC based fundraising gala benefiting the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, and the Four Diamonds Fund. Since 1972 the Fund, in achieving its mission, has helped more than 2,000 families from around the country and approximately 100 new families each year by providing financial resources for superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research.
The black-tie optional gala will be held on April 10, 2010 at 6 PM at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. As an exclusive venue, the National Press Club provides a special opportunity to gather in an inspiring space, one where the Presidents of the United States, as well as kings and queens, prime ministers, congressmen, cabinet officials, ambassadors, scholars, entertainers, business leaders, and athletes have come together to stand for a cause.
