AmeriCorps Alums Chicago is a community of experienced volunteer leaders who share a commitment to a vision of a more perfect America. Across the country, we are a national network of over half a million alumni from the AmeriCorps national service (including NCCC, VISTA and pre-AmeriCorps VISTA).
As the premiere national service alumni organization, AmeriCorps Alums is uniquely positioned to be on the cutting edge of the civic leadership community. Our vision is that the lifetime engagement of alumni is a transformational force for change in America’s communities. The Chicago Chapter is committed to realizing this vision for the Chicago community!!
Our mission is to fully realize the potential of national service alumni as leaders in communities. Our goal is to get alumni connected, equipped and engaged in order to foster their natural leadership drive and potential.
