In a world of increasing mobility and interconnectedness, knowledge, research and education need to be thought of globally, across national borders and regions.
Accordingly, we, at Aarhus University, have adopted a proactive approach to internationalisation. Our ambition is to seize the opportunities that globalisation presents for developing knowledge and talent, and influencing the international development in research and higher education.
The Master's Degree Programme in International Studies (IS) at the Faculty of Arts is a core element of Aarhus University's internationalisation strategy 2009-2013. The programme is taught in English and offers high quality and interdisciplinary education, attracting more and more talented international students each year.
In addition, IS Students are encouraged to participate in academic networks and activities in other parts of the world. For instance, the programme is part of the Global Studies Consortium, a network of teaching programmes on global studies which, among other things, aims to share curricula and ideas.
