ActionAid Brasil is a non-governmental organization affiliated to ActionAid International, active in the country since 1998 with head office based in the city of Rio de Janeiro and governed by a Council and a Brazilian Assembly.
In over twelve years of continuous activity in the country, we have established strategic partnerships with key actors engaged in the fight against poverty and social inequalities, such as social movements, non-governmental organizations and sectors of the government sphere. All our initiatives and reflections are pursued with the aim of connecting local and global levels.
Currently we support local development projects in various regions of the country and take active part in a wide range of networks and campaigns promoting and guaranteeing the rights of the poorest and most excluded populations.
