Our
mission is to help people with spinal cord injury (SCI) lead active, fit and
independent lives.
We aim to inspire people with SCI to achieve
the highest quality of life possible, keeping a “will2walk”
through life with the challenges SCI presents to individuals, families
and communities.
Pillars of our work:
Education and outreach: Programs and services that enhance the lives
of individuals and families impacted by SCI.
Public awareness: Community outreach to help advance the cause
for people and families impacted by SCI.
Research: Where and when possible, contribute to the
work being done to find a cure for SCI.
Founded in 2008, the Will2Walk Foundation was the vision of
President Rich Hamill, who sustained a spinal cord injury in an auto accident
in 1992. Will2Walk is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is led by a
volunteer
Board of Directors and funded 100% from personal donations and event proceeds. To
