The mission of OASIS Intergenerational Tutor Program is to enrich the lives of mature adults (50+) by engaging them in lifelong learning and service projects. The OASIS Intergenerational Tutor Program promotes literacy with a proven approach to help children in grades K-4 improve in reading, writing and communication skills. OASIS volunteers tutor in the Pittsburgh and Woodland Hill School Districts. All clearances, materials and training are provided free to the tutor by OASIS.
