Interfaith Refugee Ministry-Wilmington (IRM-W) is an affiliate office of Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM), one of nine national refugee resettlement agencies. IRM-W resettles refugees who arrive legally in the U.S. through the government's U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. IRM-W works to find housing, employment, and medical care for its clients, as well as enrolling children in school, educating clients about ESOL opportunities in the community, and conducting cultural and community orientations. IRM-W is also a designated refugee social service provider through the North Carolina State Refugee Office.
