Project Compassion creates community and provides support for people living with illness, caregiving, end of life, and/or grief. One way we do this is through volunteer Support Teams which is comprised of people doing what they enjoy, when they are able, in a coordinated way, with a built-in support system. These teams can support individuals and families through practical, emotional, social, and quality of life ways. Also, team members can work together to help advocate and identify resources within the community. We work in Orange, Durham, and Chatham counties of North Carolina.
