Adventure Play at The Parish School

Adventure Play is one of only a handful of adventure playgrounds in the United States and the only one at a school serving children with language delays and learning differences. Our mission is to provide outdoor, child-directed play opportunities for children, ages 5-12, using a professional approach created on UK adventure playgrounds, called playwork. Our setting is integrated, serving children with speech and language delays as well as community children with no diagnoses. Children on our playground are able to do extraordinary things, because we give them the space, time and support they need to do so.
