The Florida Justice Institute is a private, not-for-profit, public interest law organization which was founded in 1978 to:
- improve the administration of justice to all Floridians;
- encourage better representation of citizens' interests; and
- increase the ability of citizens to resolve disputes quickly and inexpensively.
The Institute seeks to accomplish these goals by working with and through existing activities of other organizations. If a major unmet need exists which no other organization can or will meet, the Institute undertakes projects to meet the need.
