Northern Arizona Academy

Northern Arizona Academy was chartered as an alternative high school in 1995. As an alternative school, Northern Arizona Academy specializes in serving students with behavioral issues, who have dropped-out of school, who are behind in credits to graduate, who are pregnant or parenting students, and adjudicated youth.   As leaders in alternative education, NAA is known for helping students achieve their academic, economic, and social goals. Students can accelerate their academic career by earning college credits while in high school, and students who are behind in credits have opportunities for credit recovery in order to achieve their graduation goals. We also specialize in helping students with gaps in their education to gain academic skills quickly, so that they can succeed in grade-level coursework. In addition to a full high school academic program that culminates in a high school diploma, NAA offers tutoring and academic supports, mental health services, community resources and referral, independent study and work credit options, flexible scheduling, and parent involvement. Our small, supportive learning environment is dedicated to giving students the opportunities they need to succeed and based upon the cornerstone of positive relationships with caring staff. 

Northern Arizona Academy will guide students in developing the social and academic skills necessary to achieve their goals and lead successful, fulfilling lives as citizens of the world.
