Witness for Peace is a politically independent, grassroots organization made up of people committed to nonviolence and led by faith and conscience. Our mission is to support peace, justice and sustainable economies in the Americas by changing US policies and corporate practices that contribute to poverty and oppression in Latin America and Caribbean. We stand with people who seek justice. We sponsor delegate trips to Latin America as well as educational events in the US. Gail Phares is founder and executive director of the organzation.
The office is located on the third floor of Fairmont United Methodist Church, 2501 Clark Ave. (corner of Clark and Horne, in Raleigh, 2 blocks north of Hillsborough St. near NCSU campus) Enter through the door from Horne St.
