Washington City Church of the Brethren

We are a Christian church in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC. We are seeking justice, wholeness, and community through the gospel of Jesus. We are a Church of the Brethren congregation, a Historic Peace Church that values peacemaking, social justice, simple living, and following Jesus in community together around God’s Word. For 37 years (1980-2017), our congregation operated the Brethren Nutrition Program, a lunch program for neighbors in need.
