The Foster Courage Project

At The Foster Courage Project we believe in the power of a story. We believe that a teenager sitting in a high school library watching the video story of a former foster youth will be moved to make better choices. Seeing celebrities who are former foster youth and ordinary people leading happy lives can plant the seeds of hope in a child.

The Foster Courage Project is a web-based effort that uncovers the stories of a community of adults who are former foster youth. These successful adults have the opportunity to upload video messages of encouragement and hope for current foster youth to view. For the first time, children in foster care will have access to the stories of a vast number of successful adults who survived foster care and have thrived as adults.
