WV eMentoring is a program of The Education Alliance, West Virginia's premier statewide, nonprofit research and K-12 public education fund. The Education Alliance was founded in 1983 by West Virginia business executives who realized the relevant and important role businesses and community can play in shaping their future workforce.
The Education Alliance, a 501(c)(3) organization, prepares West Virginia students for postsecondary education and career opportunities. It uses demonstration projects, issue-based research and partnerships with schools, businesses, community groups and other nonprofits to influence educational policies and practices at the state and local levels.
