AFE exists to identify and address unmet eye care needs in Arizona. 1.To serve as a community resource to disseminate educational information to the public, to schools, and to health professionals. 2. To create and evaluate new models, or adapt from effective existing, programs and services to meet the eye care needs identified to exist in the greater Phoenix area. 3. to build local, statewide, and national coalitions to help realize the mission of AFE.
