Aang Serian (the name means "House of Peace" in the Maasai language) is a registered Tanzanian cultural association set up to promote, preserve and document the traditional cultures of East Africa, to build self-esteem among youth, and to uphold the rights of Indigenous Peoples. We work through two major projects: (1) a Community School in the Maasai village of Eluai, Monduli District, which aims to combine indigenous and modern knowledge for sustainable development; and (2) a recording studio in Arusha town, specialising in local music.
