Black Girls Tennis Club

  • Sobre Nós

Black Girls Tennis Club, founded in Norfolk, Virginia, is a nonprofit whose mission is to recruit Black women and girls interested in tennis to learn more about the sport, participate in group and individual training, enhance their skills, and create meaningful bonds while having the space to be their authentic selves. BGTC recognizes the lack of access to the sport and creates ongoing programming in an effort to increase diversity, representation, inclusion, and belonging in tennis. Joy equity and radical wellness are at the forefront of everything we do, indirectly supporting transformation within our communities. We utilize our platform to inform, encourage, motivate, and change the narrative.
