New York University School of Medicine's Section on Health Choice, Policy and Evaluation aims to determine the influence of public policy on health and health choices, as well as how to make these policies more effective. Using multidisciplinary approaches, particularly behavioral economics, we focus on low-income, racial and ethnic minority populations and pressing public health problems, including obesity. We are part of the Department of Population Health.
