Sobre Nós

The S.H.E. Fund provides college, university, or trade school education to Maasai young women who have been rescued from Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Early Childhood Marriage and their tribe’s refusal to educate females. It currently serves high school graduates from Safe Houses in Narok, Kenya. At these Safe House, the girls are provided all living needs as well as primary and secondary education. The S.H.E. Fund is the next step, offering support to those who graduate secondary school and choose to continue with their education. Our mission is to provide college, university or trade school education to support these courageous and dedicated young women to gain the skills and maturity to succeed as empowered professionals, and, by their example, break the cycle of oppression in their communities and contribute to changing the story of women worldwide.
