The Sexual Violence Research Institute:

Works towards the end of violence by listening to and working with survivors

We actively engage with and train survivors to do high level policy and make evidence based policy recommendation. Anyone who identifies as a survivor is welcome to work with us.

Ensures continuing academic investment in eliminating sexual violence:

The Institute trains researchers who plan to do work on sexual violence in order to ensure researchers have access to the best tools and the latest technological development. The institute also advocates for the inclusion of sexual violence in a wide array of research programs.

Advocates with Survivors:

The Institute works with community organizations that work with survivors and community leaders who are survivors to design, develop and publish community based participatory research studies. The Institute advocates with community organizations for better training and access to resources on sexual violence prevention.
