Chester County Futures equips and empowers financially vulnerable youth to graduate high school and complete a post-secondary education in order to achieve fulfilling, economically independent adult lives. Our students are in Coatesville Area, Kennett Consolidated, Oxford Area, and Phoenixville Area school districts. We offer three programs.
Chester County Futures benefits the community by enabling the on-time high school graduation of low-income students, and preparing them for immediate matriculation and success at post-secondary school. This combats the low educational attainment of economically disadvantaged youth and the resulting detrimental effects on the community, including increased crime rates, high unemployment, and increased need for government subsidies, lost tax revenue, substance abuse, homelessness, domestic violence, and food insecurity.
