Winston School

The Winston School is an independent school located in Short Hills, New Jersey that enrolls children in grades 3-8 who have reading and writing challenges. Many children at Winston are dyslexic. The school is goverened by a Board of Trustees and a Head of School is the chief operating officer. Winston was established as a non-profit organization in 1981. The school currently enrolls 70 students. Winston is accredited through the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The goal of a Winston education is to provide students with the confidence, optimism and academic skills to move into regular education settings in high school.
