Lunar Doula Collective

Lunar Doula Collective (LDC), is a newly-formed Ann Arbor-based nonprofit organization which provides volunteer doula support to people experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, and abortion. Our work focuses on training doulas to support patients before, during, and after procedures associated with pregnancy loss and abortion in clinics and hospitals throughout southeast Michigan. Most importantly, the mission of LDC is centered around honoring the reproductive justice framework; our organization strives to emphasize this framework by creating a nonjudgmental space in which sexual and reproductive health equity is essential for all human beings regardless of sexual, racial, and gender identities.
