One Day On Earth is an online community of filmmakers, students, and inspired individuals representing every country of the world.
On October 10th or 2010, thousands of One Day on Earth filmmakers went out and simultaneously documented the events of that day.
The 10/10/10 event was the first of many, and will live on in the forms of a feature length documentary film, and dynamic video archive (archive.onedayonearth.org).
Through an open forum of diverse perspectives, our community strives to reveal the basic human struggles and triumphs that unite us. We anticipate that this new understanding of the shared human condition will foster a greater sense of global empathy and interconnectedness, and ultimately, action towards a more sustainable planet.
