To provide math competitions for middle school age students.
The Connecticut Engineers Education Foundation sponsors the MATHCOUNTS competition for 6th through 8th grade students in the state to encourage the study of math, science and engineering among middle school students. We sponsor five regional competitons in February and hold a state competition in March. The winners of the state competition go to the national competition in the spring.
