The Maryland Chapter of the Sierra Club works to protect Maryland's environment from the mountains to the sea. Current campaigns include Green Grid (stopping bad power projects, supporting renewables, reducing energy use), Mattawoman Creek and the Chesapeake Bay, legislative & political actions, and getting people outdoors to enjoy and explore nature so they'll want to protect it.
