Greater L.A. Chapter - USNC for UN WOMEN

UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security.  

The Los Angeles Chapter specifically works to connect the lives of local women and their endeavors to live the change they want to see in the world with the broader goals of UN Women. From Local to Global. USNC LA is dedicated to building an inclusive community of like minded people, who endeavor to live the change they would like to see in the world. We focus on innovative engagement to spread the cause of UN Women and its message of equity and gender equality in every walk of life.
