Missão
The Hartford Marathon Foundation is a 501(c)(3) , not for profit organization, founded in 1994 and located in Glastonbury, Connecticut, USA. Our mission is to organize programs and events that promote health, fitness and enjoyment for participants of all ages and experience levels. Over 70,000 people participate annually in HMF events.
Sobre Nós
HMF is a nonprofit organization that produces about 35 road race events each year throughout CT, RI and MA to promote health and fitness within the community. We also serve as a fundraising platform for mutliple charities each year to raise funds and awareness for their organizations.
Each and every event requires many volunteers to run effectively. Volunteer positions for each event vary depending on the race. The most common volunteer activities available are athlete registration, athlete shirt distribution, course monitors, water station, finish line, kids k races, ect.
