People Power and Light Overview
People Power and Light (PPL) is a 501c4 organization dedicated to developing a healthy and vibrant economy in Louisiana, particularly in those areas devastated by the petrochemical industry. Our primary purpose is to engage with people at the local level on matters of pollution, environmental justice, and civil rights. As part of our work, we additionally support candidates who prioritize community needs and stand up for civil rights and a healthy environment.
