RED House

Operating in low socio-economic areas of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania RED (Renaissance Education for Development) House was founded by local Tanzanian, Theobald Mtema. Mtema is a geologist who recognized the need for support of vulnerable, orphaned, and disadvantaged children in his area; he chose to devote all of his time and resources to helping them. Currently, RED House reaches out to 150 students ranging in age from 3 to 18 years old.
